Default Hi everyone

Hi everyone,
I just wanted to introduce myself. My name is Jess. The reason I have joined this site is that my mother passed away last Sunday night of stiff person's syndrome. As this is such a rare disorder, I am curious to find out as much as possible about it.

Hello JessAnne:

Welcome to Neurotalks.

I just looked up Stiff Person's Syndrome aka Stiff Man's Syndrome. I found it in Wikipedia.

Sounds like it's related to dystonia.

Very rare and I can't imagine what you have been through.

Please know that your mom is now at peace.

Please accept my sincere condolences.

Keep poking around this website. Lots of friendly folk here.

Again, welcome to Neurotalks.

Melody
