Hi Taonuviel and To NT.

We are more of a health issues forum, not so much of a mental health forum. We do have a few of those, but mainly physical health.

Let me know if you need any help around here.

hi and welcome

PsychCentral is a community primarily for mental health conditions whereas NeuroTalk is related to all things neurological plus a whole lot more.

we are linked in that DocJohn hosts both communities, but we function pretty much independently. We do have members who belong to both communities

"Psych" brings up the idea of "mental" rather than "brain." Although some psychiatric illnesses are psychological (such as situational depression), many are medical illnesses.

I find on these boards intelligent discussions regarding the treatment of the body and brain. Many do find that treating the body helps many symptoms in the brain from epilepsy to schizophrenia.

From my observation, this site is oriented towards medicine, or what can be termed, functional medicine. Each site has its own "flavor".
