Default brain aneurysm and ied

my husband has been in the military for 20yrs, he's been to war three times, his last war was 07 thru 08, in late 07 he was involved in an IED incident, the passenger on his truck had a concusion and my husband said he was ok, my question is, does anyone know whether or not an IED blast can contribute to a brain aneurysm?
