Hi, I am Julie. I have dealt with trigeminal neuralgia
for 10-1/2 years since I had a cavernous sinus meningioma
brain tumor surgery done that many years ago. It left
my left eye blind, and the left side of my face suffering
from the TN. I have taken neurontin and Topamax
pretty much for that amount of time, but I am getting
tired of the side effects, especially the sleepiness and
forgettfulness and sort-term memory problems. I
was thinking of trying to have one of the surgical
options done, (laser-type) but I wasn't sure of the
outcomes and wondered if there were any opinions
about this from anyone. Thanks for any help.
