I guess I have been lucky because i was referred to specialists within 2 weeks of injury who are treating my crps with sympathetic blocks. i am also on big doses of neurontin. Insurance is the worst - they try to block the blocks - so to speak. Nights are the worst and the longest. I feel like my feet are in a pail of boiling water. How about you?

I am new to the site and have been trying to find people with similar experiences. I am a Pediatric RN and hurt myself at work. My condition progressed into RSD and I have been out of work for 9 months. I was wondering if others have had issues finding good doctors. I have a case manager who hasn't been too helpful. I have had 3 doctors suggest a sympothectomy has anyone else had this done? Did you have a hard time finding doctors and resources in your community? Any suggestions from others would be helpful! I have done PT/OT/message and they all wanted me to come back after surgery, the problem is that my case manager said it was denied. Any ideas?
Thanks,
Jennelle

i dont even know if you will get this message as im new to this site and the computer, i have had rsd for over 17 years ive had nerves blocked and all sorts of things done, i have it all over my body sometimes, its a nightmare isnt it, i have taken lots of things and meddication, i find gabbapentine and oxycodone are ok but every body is not the same, hope this has helped in some way. tony.
