Hello all.
I was told of this site by Jim Broach, of the RSDSA.
I've had RSD, and TOS for 26 years. (Geez, now that I think of it, it's about half my life). Hmmm.
Caused by a T-bone accident by a tractor trailer into my driver's door of my pickup.
Later, in 98, a nice (lost) lady blew a stop sign, I tried to brace, and would have been better letting the seat belt do the work. My head struck the top of the windshield (convertible), and I sprung a subdural hematoma, (TBI), and herniated some discs, in my neck, and low back. Life has been real fun.

Deja vu' all over again.
I'm (was) self employed with two business's. I was at work during both accidents. I was wealthy (well off).
First wife, left after the first accident (couldn't live with someone with rsd), left me with my two children to raise, which I happily did.
Second accident, second wife, did the same thing, except, that she was living in my home. She threw me and my children out, emptied my bank acct's and stole what money the business's were bringing in.
(That started in 98, I'm just now getting divorced). She thinks that I won't remember everything she did and stole. But, I have lots of pictures, and made lots of notes, my Macintosh computer(s) have been trusty friends, and I found some software that let me keep track of most everything.
Which, now I'm pulling that all together for my attorney.

My children stopped speaking to me, since I suppose they think I'm "giving it all away".(The TBI was an issue too), I have healed somewhat in that area. An attorney stole a beautiful property from me (them). And, I have an action against him. My life is doctors (I have a superb Neurologist), and lawyers, and pain, and sleep issues. Of course, God has a reason for me to be here, or, he simply doesn't want me yet! So, everyday, that I am able, I do something to advance my life, or help someone else if I can.

Methadone first line of defense for almost 20 years, with other adjuncts, for my brain, altzheimer's meds. CPap and O2 for sleep.

I suppose I'm very lucky. Because even though I am depressed, I can see rebuilding my life to a certain extent. My children are in their mid twenties now, and were being groomed to "take over" the family business.(A decade and more ago). That of course didn't happen, but, may still one day. And, I hear I'm a grandfather too. I hope to meet my granddaughter soon.

Since I'm kind of an old dog at this, while I'm sure I'll have questions, please, don't be shy about asking me anything.

Over the years, I've recognized RSD in at least a dozen people, and sent them to get it checked out, and sure enough. (I worked with the public alot).

I have some close friends who have RSD and MS as well.

I'm pleased to find your little village here, and hope to get to know ya'll!

Pete
