Default Helppppppppppppppppppppppp

Hello evryone,

Well i guess I start from the begining, five years ago the right side of my face started with hemmi facial spasm... we think been thru alot of test MRI, Blood, Spinal tap Cat scan you name it I had it. Then two years ago I had a Seizures, but was told that it was a stress seizure now I was told that the eeg showed that I have epilepsy and now they found white spots on my recent MRI... I just dont know who to believe anymore.... just seems it is a guessing game and doctors go with there gut feeling but do they realize that we are human and have feeling and families and lives.... I guess I just need to vent and dont know where to go from here any advise

Welcome. It is so frustrating when the Docs can't figure out what is wrong and keep making guesses. Don't give up though. Keep pestering them until someone takes the time to do all the tests and come up with an answer.

I had a Doc that I really trusted and thought of as a friend. He and his wife used to socialize with us and everything. Finally, after many years of treatment he told me he thought I was "hypervigilent" and there was nothing wrong with me. I felt so betrayed. I went to a new Doc who did the right tests and gave me a true diagnosis. It gets tiring but it is worth it.
