I just found this site this morning. I was diagnosed with MS about 20 years ago. I am one of the "you look so good" people who show few of the symptoms that I feel.
I took copaxone for over 10 years and then my MD and neurologist decided I did not have MS and took me off the med. Within 6 months my legs were so stiff that I could barely walk. I felt terrible. Then, I went to a new neurologist who put me back on copaxone. It took over a year but I am now back to my normal state. I consider it to be my miracle drrug. I recently moved to Upstate New York which was my lifelong dream. I could not be happier. I love to knit and I love my cats which is how I got my name. We don't have a TV so I spend lots of time reading - a book a day most times. I'm glad I came here. |

So great to have you here. My husband, known as the Olhipie, was diagnosed with MS 23 years ago. I’ve been with him for 8 years and love him to pieces.
We devour books like you do but we also like our TV. I love to knit so we have a little bit in common!! Glad you stumbled onto NeuroTalk…take care…oh, what kind of books do you read…?
