Default introduction

I just found this site this morning. I was diagnosed with MS about 20 years ago. I am one of the "you look so good" people who show few of the symptoms that I feel.

I took copaxone for over 10 years and then my MD and neurologist decided I did not have MS and took me off the med. Within 6 months my legs were so stiff that I could barely walk. I felt terrible. Then, I went to a new neurologist who put me back on copaxone. It took over a year but I am now back to my normal state. I consider it to be my miracle drrug.

I recently moved to Upstate New York which was my lifelong dream. I could not be happier. I love to knit and I love my cats which is how I got my name. We don't have a TV so I spend lots of time reading - a book a day most times.

I'm glad I came here.

Welcome to NT! I totally relate with the "but you look so good!" If only our health matched our 'looks"! Right?

I also love kitties, although recently I have also found the wonderfulness of little dogs, too. Animals can help make so many things better!

I hope you stick around and get top know us...

So great to have you here. My husband, known as the Olhipie, was diagnosed with MS 23 years ago. I’ve been with him for 8 years and love him to pieces.
We devour books like you do but we also like our TV. I love to knit so we have a little bit in common!!
Glad you stumbled onto NeuroTalk…take care…oh, what kind of books do you read…?
