I suppose it could be something else, but I have what I think you are describing. Most of them are about the size of a pea, or perhaps a small marble, just under the skin. They are in my arms, my stomach, my sides mostly. They are lipomas, or little hard lumps of fat. They mostly don't bother me at all, but if I fiddle with them, they kind of hurt.

Welcome to the community!

Hi, and Welcome to NT

Blessings has the same thing my sister has. She had hers biopsied. They came back negative for cancer. They wer lipomas. Where she had hers removed caused her some problems. One place still swells on her neck.

I would be worried but the only way they'll know is either remove them to do needle biopsies. I have a few small nodules in my armpits. Not had them checked out. they've been there for a long time. I had my underarm hair removed by laser, because I couldn't grip a razor, so I don't have to mess with that area now.

If they are new or are growing or a funny size would scare me into biopsies. Other than that, I'm okay with them.

There's lots of info and good people here. So hang out with us.

Hi Diane and welcome to NeuroTalk!

I'm posting the link to the General Health Conditions Forum for you in case you haven't visited there yet.

http://neurotalk.psychcentral.com/forum2.html

I don't have the condition you're describing but know several who do. If you're not comfortable with your doctor's diagnosis I'd go to a dermatologist, possibly, and see if they can reassure you that it's not a serious condition or anything to be concerned with.
