Default 360 back surgery

Hi,

I had a 360 back surgery(posterior/anterior in dec. 2008. I can tell you your stomach will be sore and back will be sore, especially your muscles. Please make sure you have a walker to use for the 1st few weeks. also make sure you have a medical chair you can sit in to shower in your bathroom. follow all instructions given to you post op. take short walks. I was in the hospital for 4 days. Also since you are having your stomach cut open you will need a vascular surgeon along with your surgeon who is doing your fusion. I am sorry you have to have another back surgery. the back surgery I had in dec. 2008 was my 3rd back fusion. if you have any questions about my recovery time or any pre-op questions please feel free to pm me. I will keep you in my prayers. good luck and I hope you don't need any more surgeries after this.
