Default Introduction

Hi everyone,

Thanks for welcoming me to your group. This looks like a huge group, and i have to say I'm overwhelmed. I have RSD from the lower back and down both legs, front and back. I also have it in my left arm! This was caused by three failed back surgeries back in July of 2006. A nerve in the lower lumbar region was cut twice! I've had time to go through all the emotions of contracting RSD, and I'm finally OK with it. I've forgiven the Neurosurgeon for what he did to me, and my life has taken on a whole new direction, where I'm able to give back and help others, which is what life is about anyway. My wish is that more Doctors and people in general knew about RSD and what a horrible disease it is. I get tired of explaining the disease to everyone i meet, including some Doctors, and Nurses. I hope you all have a pain free night!

Blessings,

jmac51

Well put. I look up to you for your understanding and forgiving nature. A dose of that would do me good. I'll work on that...

Hello and welcome to NT. There are a lot of wonderful people on here with great advice. I like your attitude. Once I accepted my RSD (fullbody with organ involment) things started to fall in place. As long as I feel good enough I volunteer. It gives me a feeling of acomplishment and being needed.
I noticed you are from Cinti. I live about 40 miles north of Cinti.
I look forward to hearing more from you.
Take care
