Hi everyone. I am TOSMommy. I was just diagnosed with TOS yesterday after seeing several doctors and having numerous tests since last December.
I am relieved to have a diagnosis, but now worried because I am a mom to a 2 and 4 year old and have a baby on the way (due in Jan). I am wondering how the pregnancy will affect the TOS and my ability to recover. I have been off work since April have been in physical therapy, but have seen little improvement so far. My TOS doctor said that I could expect at least another 4 months. I have joined this board to connect with others that are living with TOS. Looking forward to feeling normal again... TOSMommy |

Hi TOSMommy and welcome to NeuroTalk! You've sure got your hands full with a 2 yr old, 4 yr old and soon to be new baby! Have you discussed with your doctor how your recovery will be affected by your TOS?
I've posted the link to our TOS forum for you in case you haven't visited there yet. You can connect and correspond with others who have the same condition. You'll find lots of caring and supportive people here at NT. Again, welcome to NT! http://neurotalk.psychcentral.com/forum24.html

Welcome Sorry you have TOS. It's no fun. Being a mother of two and three is a hard job. I'm wondering if you have family support to help you out. On delivery, may ask about options, because if your scalens and pecs are involved, straining is not going to be... ...I don't have a word for that thought. TOS is tricky to treat. You'll have to explore your options. Getting good help to start out with is hard to get. So be patient and ask questions here and there and everywhere.
