Smile Hello

What wonderful world the internet is that people can connect on such a forum as Neuro Talk.

This past month I was diagnosed with Myasthenia Gravis and have just started on medications. My case is very mild so far (just affecting my eye) and I hope it stays that way! So far all my doctors have been great and I've been able to get appointments without delay to find out what my problem was. I'm 56 and up til now have been very healthy despite being overweight most of my life.

I'll be primarily hanging out in the MG section, but you never know where I'll pop up!

Default Visitor vs. Member

Thanks for the warm welcome. One non-medical technical question. The status under my member name shows Visitor. Since I registered, I assumed I'd be shown as member. Do I need to do anything else? I'm familiar with these types of forums and belong to Cruise Critics (love to cruise) and Timeshare Users Group (TUG) since we also enjoy our Marriott timeshares. Both these forums are similar in setup, access, etc.

Thanks for the welcome. "Visitor" status has now changed to "New Member" status -- yea! Guess it takes a bit to kick in, or maybe reach a certain # of posts.
