Default newbie

Hi all,
I am a MSer since 1986, went into remission after a year, symptoms came back in 2007. I gave up my job then, applied for and got SSD, and just started on Rebif for new lesions on my last MRI.
I am mobile and use a cane for unsteady days. I try to keep active when possible, and keep a positive attitude. I do have difficulty with falling over, tremors in my hands and often severe muscle cramping mostly in my feet and calves and take meds to relieve the symptoms.
Am a avid ocean fisherperson, caught 8 keepr sea bass and fluke on a afternoon trip yesterday. Today I get to rest and recover. It was windy with 8-10 ft. waves, but still tons of fun.
At home, I grow tomatoes and cucumbers in pots outside. Have already harvested several red and yellow cherry tomatoes, nothing like home grown!
I live in a small, friendly retirement village at the Jersey shore, its on one level and accessible for me. I love looking at my yard with trees, flowers, bunnies, birds, the occasional owl, and a resident chipmunk who likes to chew through the lines on my gas grill. It was either him or the dang squirrels!
My nickname of scooter is not because of MS, its what my neighbors call me when they see me on my elec. two wheel razor scooter!
