Default Hi from NYC

I just found this forum while googling "Flector patch". Seems like a nice crowd.

Do you discuss all neurologic/psychiatric disorders here?

Are there any MDs here who might give career advice?

Hi Zipzap and welcome to NeuroTalk. We have a forum for just about everything here. It's a great place to make new friends, exchange information and get support. I'm not aware of any Drs. who give career advice but one never knows.... Jump in anywhere.

Welcome to NT

I've tried the Flector Patch. It does have it's purpose but for "if you numb me I'll move" type of relief, the Lidoderm is the best.

You may need something like the Depart of Vocational Rehabilitation here in Kentucky. They have vocational experts. I Googled NYC and got this link.

http://www.vesid.nysed.gov/

You may get additional guideance for your particular need.

Let us know if you're having trouble getting around.

Thanks, but I'm not disabled, thank G-d.

I work in health care, as a medical reviewer for an insurance company, and am thinking of going into psychiatry. Neurology interests me also.

I guess I'll have a look around the forums and try to find some MDs.

Thanks, azoyizes. I wish you a recovery or at least remission.
