Default Occipital Neuralgia and vision

Does anyone else have chronic vision issues with their O/N? I am not sure if this is O/N related. I have chronic daily headache from the O/N.

yes, I have trouble focusing in the middle of my visual field. My drug therapy along with meditation and hypnosis are working some what right now for pain. But my visual problems persist.

I have issues at times with focussing and dizziness, particularly while I'm trying to have a conversation with people??? I have a dx of TOS. This brings on alot of occipital headaches. While looking through the TOS forum I came across a post by Chroma which featured an article on such symptoms connected to C0- C1 issues.
It may help to scan over some of the posts on the TOS forum as there's LOTS of great tips to help with easing neck tension which contributes to ON.

Default treatment for O.N.

How does anyone treat this O/C? My neurologist is giving me injections of Lodicaine to numb the nerves. He gives them to me all over my head. I had it done twice so far. The first time it was 18 sticks in my head, and the second time it was 22. The effects last for about a month and a half. I don't know what else can be done. Also I get headaches all over my head and get dizzy. My eyes start to get blurry every night. Any suggestions?
thanks

I get the chronic daily throbbing headaches and I treat with blocks and some meds. I also get eye pain from this, but I haven't experienced blurred vision. If it were me, I would see an eye doctor to rule out any other problems before attributing this to ON.

Confused Occipital Neuralgia & Vision

I have noticed ever since the Occipital Neur. my vision continues to get more and more blurry. The headaches have now gotten so bad it affects my whole life. I have had three nerve blocks to no avail they actually seem worse after the blocks than before. The last thing I tried was laying on the concrete outside, pulling my knees up and rolling my head back and forth on the concrete to each side. Headache was gone when I returned into the house. Toradol shots so far had been the only relief until then but they seem to get less and less effective each time.
Does anyone else have funny little twinges in the facial area? Especially the cheek right under the eyes, and does this get better or worse as the neur. continues. I've only had this about 8 months and already my whole life has changed, never know when one of these things is going to hit....debillitating!!
