Default tired of headaches

I have had Occipital Neuraligia for 15 years. I got hit from behind at a stop light. I have headaches 24/7 for about 10 years. The headaches are only in the base of the skull and range from Minor to lying in bed sick to my stomach and ice on my neck.
I have tried all different medications to no avail.
I have tried Trigger point injections, facet injections, Nerve blocks, lanicane, accupunture, massage therapy and Physical therapy.

I am in the process of getting a Botox injection.

Anyone have information on Botox or any other help.

Thanks,

Richie

Have you considered seeing a chiropractor that specializes in upper cervical adjustments {c1 & c2 adjustment}?
Chiropractic care info- a good one can help with many symptoms:

I have not tried the Botox yet, so I can't really help you there. I am currently having the nerve blocks and they work well for me. I also have massage therapy and acupuncture, which help too.
If you do decide to try Botox, I hope it is helpful for you.

Hi Richie,

I don't know how you've coped for 10 years I've had ON since a car accident 6 months ago and it's already really getting me down. I'm booked in for nerve root blocks on Monday and I'm hoping and praying that they work for me.

I'm sorry that they haven't helped you and hope that Botox does the trick. Please let us know how you get on.

Good luck & hopefully happy, pain-free times ahead

Hi Richie,

I do not have experience with Botox. But I have a friend that had ON and the Botox worked for him. The PM I have now and PM's I used to see do not use Botox. For whatever the reason, and I never found out why, but they stopped using it. And I only know that much because my boss was getting Botox from the same group I was going to and then all of a sudden said they weren't using Botox anymore. Again, not sure why but I have my thoughts. But that was several years ago too so they may have gone back to it.
