I'm with BMW on the great news part and being able to control it. Where is the line going to? Is it in a vein or to the muscles?? I feel like a real dunce here . I'm so happy for you and I do hope this helps.

It was in my forearm on the top, just ever-so-slightly under my skin. Once it was in, I couldn't feel it. I pulled it out myself at around midnight and it was no problem. Preferable to shots in the skull, let me tell ya!

HA! We've (By we, I mean my pain doc and I) managed to get my pain level to a 2/3 from the 5 it was on Monday before we started the whole lido thing, so that's something. Between the 2 Lidos this week and the twice a day 12 hour morphine along with 4 hour morphine for breakthrough pain...
It's amazing to me how damn persistant the headache is and how powerful it is. I am just shocked at what lengths we have to go to to beat it back. TWO lidos in a week!*boggles* My head is a scary, scary thing. |

PG, sadly I know what you mean.
On a postitive note, I'm glad you're finally getting some relief and this plan of attack seems to be working for you. I so hope that you and the PM doctor can beat it back some more. |
