pretty freaky they do look like baby monkeys,
as for the one taking a nap, maybe he is contiplating where the water is coming from, just kidding, any one ever see that special on pbs or somewhere like that on how they tried to stop them from getting to bird feeders, clever little rats, if i am correct i think they outwitted every type of bird feeder gaurds they came up with to stop them, one even climbed a cloths line like a marine and drop down on it, ever get the chance to see it do so |

cool videos, was wondering after watching the one trying to nest in your arms, is their sleeping area like a nest? they are a nest animal, just a thought
|
That wasn't me in the videos, they are just YouTubes I found.
As far as their nests, let me find some pics. ;) |

Summer Dreys and Winter Dreys are conspicuous constructions of leaves and twigs mounted high in treetops. Winter Dreys are made in layers. The outer layer consists of interwoven twigs while an inner layer is built up with softer materials consisting of bark, leaves, moss, fur, grass, and “found” materials. They are resistant to winter winds and provide protection where den sites may be in short supply. Summer Dreys are less elaborate and provide minimal protection from the elements. They are less likely to be used for litters. Tree dens in hollow trees are the preferred nest sites for raising young. http://www.northrup.org/Photos/squir...-in-spring.JPG |
cool did not know they use tree hollows too, makes sense warmer and safer

Awww, I love squirrels they are so cute! My mom and dad have one that comes to their door, they open it, it steps inside, and they give it nuts. Sometimes it will stand their and eat it, other times it goes a runnin! LOL
Thanks for the cuteness! |
I love them too. My Mom and Dad always called them rats with bushy tails. I didn't understand what the problem was with rats!! But they sure had, and Mom still does have a different opinion of animals than I do, I love them all. My house is proof of that.
awesome pics thanks |
