A young man who had a fairly poor father living on the other side of town went to visit him one day. While there his poor ole dad & gave him coffee & doughnuts. The son saw that his plate & cup were only fairly clean at 1st so he told his dad he better wash them.
The next day he went back. He had a snack & noticed the plate was cleaner but still somewhat dingy, so asked his dad why. His poor ole dad told him all he had was cold water.
The next day he went again & while having a beer, noticed that the mug was dirty & his beer had a funny taste. When he told his poor ole dad, his dad told him to remember all he had was cold water.
As his son was leaving, the dog was laying there blocking the doorway, so the poor ole man yelled "move over coldwater".
