In Remembrance

This morning I awakened at 5:00 AM. Nothing unusual about that. However, I was fully on even before getting out of bed! That has never happened before. Usually I shuffle to the med-station, take a sinemet 10-100 plus a CR 50-200, shuffle or "skate" to my chair where I imitate a "lump" for an hour.
The only thing that I can attribue it to is that yesterday I took two doses of acetyl-L-carnitine (2 gr) and alpha lipoic acid (300 mg). Instead of my usual one in the morning I took the second one about dinner time. I'm going to try to epeat it today of course. I had never tried dosing that high, not due to safety but rather cost.

Rick,
Do you take the lipoic acid to lower the oxidative stress caused by the acetyl-L-carnitine? How did you calculate the strength of the lipoic acid? http://books.google.com/books?hl=en&...rnitine&f=true

There is a synergistic effect with the combo that has a lot of research behind it.
