David Paterson, Governor of NYS has proclaimed Sept. 23rd as Stem Cell Awareness Day in New York. Due to the efforts of New Yorkers for the Advancement of Medical Research (NYAMR) - a coalition of disease and social action organizations (the Parkinson’s Disease Foundation was an early and consistent leader), academic institutions, researchers and patients over the last 5 years, and officials like the Governor, stem cell research is moving ahead in NYS.
See announcement from the NYS Stem Cell Board and be sure to view the stem cell images -- they are amazing! http://www.stemcell.ny.gov/slideshow/index.php?i=1 ---------- Forwarded Message ---------- From: Stem Cell Board BML Subject: Stem Cell Awareness Day Date: Wed, 23 Sep 2009 08:59:06 -0400 Governor David A.
