Hi:
A few days ago my daughter gave birth to my newest grand daughter. She weighed seven and a half pounds, was 21 inches long and had black hair. Everyone involved in this production is doing fine. She will be called Emma. All the best, Lloyd |

Congratulations Kathleen!
My son and his wife had their daughter two weeks ago! Her name is Raylynn and she weighed in at 9'1". My first grand-daughter also. I am sure you are as iin love with yours as I am. It is hard to not be asked to babysit with my tremors so bad (some days not so much) and know the other grandma gets all the fun. Hope that is not the case for you. congratulations to both bucrkle and vicky. something we did not think about when we delayed having our children--we will be very old first time grandparents. I am a little bit envious. Maybe a lot envious. madelyn

Congratulations Lloyd, and welcome to your little Emma. Congratulations to you Vicky, I know how you feel, I would have loved to be much more involved in my grandchildren's lives, we have six small grandchildren, and I can't pick them up when they run to give me a hug.
And Olsen, we were young when our children were born, but our children waited very late to have children, so we are old grandparents. It would have been nice to have been younger and stronger and able to help. But with all that THEY ARE SUCH A JOY, both children and grandchildren. |
