Prior to seeing my neuro, I was taking Amantadine twice daily..When I began taking it 3 times daily, it made a remarkable difference

Confused

I'm new here but I was reading about all the stiffness in your body, And I will be the first to admit I know absolutly nothing about your illnesses, but I have always heard that Accupuncture is the best way to loosen severly tightened or pinched muscles. Again I don't know anything but just a thought.Good luck and many prayers for you from a total stranger.

There is a good article about Fibromyalgia in the new issue of Neurology Now. It tells of someone who had both MS and Fibromyalgia, so I would think that you could possibly have both PD and Fibromyalgia. That would explain the PD meds helping some symptoms, but not all.

Excuse me , I'm new to this, and I don't know anything, but have you thought of using accupuncture? It is supposed to relax muscles immediatly, Again I don't know anything but maybe it's a thought. Good luck and many prayers from a stranger.

Default Accupuncture

Mr. Ed Russ,

A friend of mine recently suggested accupuncture, and my mother in law actually takes her dog for accupuncture treatments and she swears that they make a difference in her dog's ability to walk. Unfortunately, I have heard that that the effects don't last very long either. My mother in law takes her dog once a week, and I bet that it really adds up. As for the cost, we are struggling just to keep our heads above water at this time. I can't even afford the $25.00 co-pay for Physical Therapy. Thanks for the suggestion, and if I come into some money, it is something I will consider.

Thanks,

Evonne
