Arrow Update on washington redskins cheerleader crippled for life after being vaccinated

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=mh5F5wP8RdU

On August 23, 2009, I received a seasonal flu vaccine at a local grocery store that drastically, and potentially irreversibly, altered my future. In a matter of a few short weeks I lost the ability to walk, talk normally, and focus on more than one stimuli at a time. Whenever I eat I know, without fail, that my body will soon go into uncontrollable convulsions coupled with periods of blacking out.

Each day is a battle to control the symptoms triggered by the flu vaccine and a reminder that my life will never be the same. I set up this site to tell my story and warn people of the neurological side effects than can result from vaccinations; especially knowing that in the majority of cases, these stories are seldom heard outside of immediate families and friends.

I hope everyone that reads my story will heed my warning and think very carefully, including watching my story, reading the information about vaccine side effects on this website, reading the vaccine package insert, considering the natural remedies for flu and H1N1 on this site, and seeking out consultations with the doctors found on this website, before making the decision to receive a vaccination.

Sincerely,

Desiree Jennings

Lightbulb Vaccine.com - shocking info - they dont know!

http://www.thevaccination.com/articl...1-vaccine.html

Are they safe?

We're not really sure.

Officials at the National Institute of Health claim there are "no serious side effects," aside from redness and swelling at the site of injection - but we have been digging a bit deeper and found other facts to be aware of. A source at the NIH admitted that the vaccine(s) were one of the fastest human vaccines in development, according to CBS correspondent Sharyl Atkinson. In order to get these vaccines to market so quickly, the United States government granted "liability protection" to swine flu vaccine manufacturers. This protection allowed the drug companies to fast-track production by adding unlicensed components, some of which have been shown to cause autoimmunity in animals. In other words, you might be taking a vaccine has been licensed without normal safety regulations - and if you suffer adverse reactions, the drug manufacturer is immune from legal liability.

Aside from being rushed-to-market, are there any unsafe ingredients I should know about?

Some shots will contain the mercury-based preservative thimerosal, which some believe to be harmful to children. The CDC claims there is no evidence of this. However, a US Congressional Report on Mercury in Medicine, released in 2003, claimed that there is a link between thimerosal and the development of autism, along with other brain development disorders. Additionally, some vaccines use squalene, an immune adjuvent that causes the immune system to react in a powerful and unnatural way. The purpose is to reduce the amount of vaccine needed per dose. The American Journal of Pathology published a study in 2000 which cited a possible link between adjuvants and arthritis and other chronic inflammatory diseases. Critics claim the use of adjuvants was another unsafe result of the vaccine being rushed out the door.

There seems to be such strong feeling about vaccinations - and so little information that is not being questioned by someone!

It's hard to know how to make a decision. I'm inclined to go for the regular flu shot and queue up in the second half of the line for H1N1, although I really believe that it was carefully produced and tested. There are just some side effects that don't show up until you've vaccinated a million or so folks - but, then again, if they are that rare, I think my risk from flu is higher than from vaccination!

Firmly on the fence, that's me!

In Canada they have a new strategy because several studies indicate that the regular flu shot (which I GOT!) makes one MORE SUSCEPTIBLE TO H1N1!!

So they are not giving regular flu shots first. Just the H1N1 because they say all their flu has been H1N1 (hard to believe), and later on they can give people the regular flu shot since that flu will go on til March.

They don't know if those studies are right, but they are acting as if they are correct.

I should have skipped the regular flu shot because I now may have a higher risk of getting H1N1. Nice.

Zucchini -

Sometimes there is no winning for losing! What a deal. I'm speechless. Maybe we should all just wear masks? Whatever, I hope you stay healthy and all this theory is not put to the test in your body!~

Yes, I saw this on the tv news. The woman has dystonia, but not all the doctors are convinced that it was caused by the flu shot. There are not any other cases known of a flu shot causing these problems.

After watching video of her, one doctor has determined it is psychogenic dystonia.

Psychogenic disorders do not mean that a person is faking their symptoms. Rather, it means that the person truly believes that the symptoms are real. However, there is no physiological reason for the symptoms. It truly is all in their head.
I'll spare the commentary.

Post my opinion on the doctor that says it's in her head?

well - all I have to say about the doctor -
is it is neurological, and I wonder if he has even has met her personally and
given her any tests - in my own life experience dr.'s who answer like this
need to have their head examined

I have a friend that had a side effect of the flu shot in 2006. It's called Guillain-Barre Syndrome. It's very rare.
