Default Meds removed by TSA

Hi all, as part of my long term plan to de-stress and retire I have been going back and forth between Orange County Ca and Santiago Chile. Hey, it's a lot like Ca, it's cheaper and people don't stare at a "gimp".
Anyway, yesterday I arrived to Santiago only to discover that the kind TSA folks in OC had raided my bags, leaving only a "TSA was here" card and took every bit of Stalevo (6 weeks worth) I had, bar the few I had in my carry on. Luckily Chile has a more enlightened approach to OTC drug purchases and I was able to buy 3 week's supply this am. I'll repeat as needed but imagine if I was in England?
If this was Codeine I could see it, but these drugs have NO VALUE to a non PD patient.

Default stalevo

YIPES, have you no recourse? contact your congressperson? specifically one who is sympathetic to persons with PD? At the very least send an email to the white house.

Thank God for OTC availability in Chile! It reinforces my rather paranoid procedure of carrying one half my meds in my carry on bag and one half in my purse (I realize this is not an accessory everyone carries!) - this way if my purse is stolen or my carry on stolen or my checked baggage vanishes, I have something left to see me through....

it appears to me that the TSA was wrong to take your pills.
