Politics Believe it or not I finally saw the movie Sicko by Jerry Bruckhiemer

My English I teacher had to go and ruin my day. I dont know how accurate it is as far as reflecting the Canadian health care system or Britain's National Health Service but we ought to say the hell with these wars, we need to take care of our own. Next time, lets elect some that will settle for nothing else. 100% of the people, 100% of the costs. Hell, I'm tired of hearing about who I'm bailing out when I cant afford my meds, my neighbor has an elect. cord from our house to run a lamp cause his power is turned off, he cant work and is trying to get SSDI. Pheww.. Spit... Oh man, I better go to bed before I go postal, as in firing off a letter to a few senators!!! I think I'll do just that tomm morning after I sleep on it and gather my thoughts.

Default you ain't seen nothing yet

with a $1.2 trillion healthcare bill looming. Taking 400 billion out of medicare-medicaid, we're all going to be eating gruel!!
Now is the time to be writing your senators if y ou are as scared of this bill as the majority of us are!
www.house.gov and www.senate.gov
will get you to their emails.

Charlie

PS Jim I am wiith you 100% concerning the country taking care of the disabled. We do a lousy job of it! Have you priced AARP's medicare "Gap" plan? I know Walmart and others have $4 generics. Sinemet can be had as a generic now.
Drug companies have programs to help with your drugs too. Check them out.

Default I would like to correct myself.

The movie was made by Michael Moore, not Jerry Bruckhiemer, apologies.

Saw the second half as we didnt finish it first time and I'm even more enraged. If the people don't practically riot we arent going to ever see this even close. Healthcare is for a for profit business and theres too much money that is keeping it that way. Just the real truth of the matter it's not that we cant, [U]we[U] as in those we have sent to the hill wont push that button. I can go on and on we have the richest nation on earth spending billions overseas in everyone elses business but we cant afford to take care of our elederly, our vets, our fellow Americans.
