Default nursing home in long island?

does anyone know of a particularly good nursing home on long island? in an ideal world, it would be one with definite experience with PWP, though maybe any nursing home would have that.

thanks for your help,
boann

Boann,

Did you set that question up for the perfect answer from someone who IS a cynic and a realist? LOL

Here it comes - I don't know that area but I do know that this is not an ideal world and that any nursing home would NOT be knowledgeable about PD.

Bill Bell of the Northwest Parkinson Foundation has developed a curriculum network for caregivers and health professionals - for this very problem - here's a link:

sigh,
Paula
