calls for DBS to be given to YOPD and now gene therapy. Of course the risks are less the younger and healthier you are, it still exposes the guinea pig, (YOPD), to the most dangerous of procedures.
Obviously it is all commercially driven, minimise risk for the patient, maximise the chance of success. To me it is still a last resort, DBS and gene therapy. Neil. |

And the system will continue to be comercially (for profit)-driven untill someone points out such safety (or I coulld even say "humane") issues. And who wants safety for patients more than patients???? (If you miss this one, you will have to repeat the course) Peg |
