Default snow

Hi Everyone:

It snowed today; not much, less than 2 inches. My Grandson got his first view of the white stuff. Tomorrow is his first birthday and he is rapidly amassing a list of accomplishments. He can clap hands, wave bye-bye, go upstairs, go downstairs, raise his arms on cue (when we say, So Big), stand unaided. I wish he would stay still long enough for me to read him a book; even a short book.

Lloyd

I loved reading to my kids when they were little, Lloyd. The first one took to it right away, and the next two were in on it from birth, cuddled up as I read to the older one(s). Their favourite books from about age one to two were the Richard Scarry ones - pages full of pictures of familiar stuff. I'd say "where's the _______?" and they'd find it and point to it. I still have boxes in the basement storage room full of well-worn books that I'm saving for if I ever have grand-children.
