Has anyone had problems with the generic form of Sinemet manufactured by Apotex? I recently received a supply, and aside from the fact that the pill is so small that it is nearly impossible to break or cut in half, it does not seem to work. I see there are some recalls of Apotex drugs when I browse online, and occasionally they mention carbidopa levadopa. Should I just rely on Sinemet or are most of the generics as good?
By the way, most of the items online regarding Apotex are addressed to Canadians. Is Apotex a Canadian drug company? If so, isn't it against the law to buy drugs from Canada? Does this just refer to regular citizens and not pharmacists? Ann |

Hi Ann,
I have never taken the brand name sinemet; have always used the generic from Teva. Twice, i was given a different kind, but didn't check the brand..I knew it was different because it was smaller and very difficult to break. It did not work as well. They 're not all the same. What do you usually take? paula
