This is a fantastic history and literature review of levodopa. It also dispels the myth that it's detrimental to begin therapy with levodopa in young onset cases.

This site helps patients/families find a movement disorders specialist, provides information on community events (there are 11 taking place in 2014) and enables families to connect to a PD advocate that might be helpful navigating local services.

Default Hi

I have a couple of resources you might like. If you're on FB, and you would like to join healing parkinsons, its a closed group so you can ask to join. They have lots of information about regaining health, not the average pd group.
I was diagnosed with pd and it was helpful in that the meds have been helpful when i finally started taking them. But generally I don't like meds and i'm working at recovering. I offer lots of info about healing on my website lightheartedtherapy.com I stay away from the doom and gloom typical pd sites. Just thought you might be interested....
