Default allergic to some brands of sinemet?

My sympathies for all of the difficulties you've gone through with your mom. I also as dx'd with PD shortly after a spinal surgery. I know a few more people through my mom that also were. It makes me wonder if this insult to our CFS space has something to do with certain symptoms or reasons for idiopathic PD. I turned out not to have PD but had micrographia in one hand after the surgery and very slight adrenaline based tremor (inderal treatable).

It certainly makes it seem there are many kinds of PD and many possible treatments. I did see one post and my Mom has a friend that is allergic to certain kinds of sinemet. I wonder if this could be part of your Mom's issue. See page 2 TonyaV's reply to my question about a friend of my Mom's being allergic to sinemet. Her reply included some brands etc that might help.
