IMark...sounds like you are doiing all the right things...have you tried making fermented papaya???? God Bless!

I would think that buying fresh fava beans to make chips would be more costly in the end than using juice from international gourmet.....it is so easy once you have the juice....I'd try that first if you can't grow your own.

Farm is going well right now...greenhouse still not finished or under cover...pray for my little papaya trees....it's getting into some colder days here for covering them sufficiently.
Report on the watermelon.....they do seem to give good support for some reason. I have 2 left, but went Off of them for 2 weeks to see if it had any effect.......yep they sure did! I had to go back to taking my tincture several times a day again and having more pain in neck and shoulders. I ate watermelon 2 days in a row and did not need the tincture very much.....so watermelon needs to be studied!! I will be anxious for next year"s crop! Blessings!

Thank you, Aunt Bean . I firmly believe that planting your own beans, watering it and looking after it with loving hands and waiting for the beans to blossom is theorapatic just as much as the l-dopa found in the beans.
As for Papaya, we buy the fresh fruit occasionally when we find it in the super market and it is delicious.

One thing about the papaya...fermenting it yourself has incredible benefits...you won't believe it until you try it....look under post fermenting papaya for directions. It's not that hard and dehydrators can be purchased at around $30 without temp controls. It sure is worth it for me, dad and 2 friend that are making their own now. Bless You

Sorry I have not posted for a while.....but have good news to share!!!
I tried a tincture using the untreated organic fava bean seeds I bought to plant outside. I sprouted them for 3 whole days....then steamed them for 8 minutes/
peeled and rinsed and mashed them and placed them into a jar. Covered them with brandy and shook them for a month (just like the fava tops tincture) It is a very simple proceedure..needs no garden! It works...actually, I think it does better than the fava tops tincture. This means absolutely anyone can make it! I have not found someone to do a chemical test on it yet to measure the l-dopa content....so hard to find someone who will do a test without grant money. Will let you all know results when this is done.
The fava tops tincture was 2 drops is approximately 1 mg l-dopa. Got to go. God Bless!!

Hi You-all......still haven't got a test done on the fava bean sprout tiincture...but it works for me ......pray for a researcher!!!! We may be having a fava festival in June here in east TN if anyone would like to come visit the farm ....please send a private message to let me know if you are interested in attending. We will conduct a workshop on how to make tinctures/ fermented papaya , etc God bless you Aunt Bean

thankyou

Hi Aunt Bean,

Seems to me that what you have here in homeopathic terms is a "nosode" whiich may stimulate your own levadopa(as well as accompanying enzymes, vitamins, minerals etc) production - much better than taking boatloads of it!
LOVE your creative work - I'm going to try this.
keep on keepin' on!
warm regards,
md

We have decided on June 19th for a fava bean festival/ workshop / garden tour etc,
Robert Rodgers from Parkinson's Recovery will be a special guest for the day...hope some of you that are interested in the work or growing and making your own natural l-dopa products will be able to come be with us for the day. May you take time to breathe,
and enjoy life during this busy season. God Bless Aunt Bean

Just a quick update ....I have sent the fava sprout tincture to Ken Allan in Canada, since we still do not have a researcher local to work with and test things for me. He received it and send that he will try to do the test and report back next week....Pray the dopamine level will be sufficient to make it a worthwhile kitchen project for many of you out there struggling with conventional meds. Using fava sprouts will mean that as long as you can obtain organic, sproutable beans...you wouldn't even have to grow a garden, just do the whole process in your kitchen. If there is someone in the medical field out there who is interested in helping with this research....please send me a personal message , because I am not to a computer very often and sometimes only for a 15 minute library spot with only time to check email and my avatar for messages.
