Default A Visit with the Optometrist

I've been having difficulty reading at the computer lately, leaning in to see even with reading glasses (the cheap ones from the discount store), so I thought it was a good time to see the eye doc. Wow, I wish she were my neuro! ha! She really listened to all I had to say about my quirks, but especially my eyelid spams. She seem to know right away what it was, since she's had a patient with the same issue. Blepharospasm. Yep, that's what I thought, thanks to the wealth of info available on the internet.

The blepharospasm doesn't effect vision, per se, but the closing of my left eye leaves me trying to see out of my right one, which evidently is weakening. So now it's time for prescription reading glasses, and distance glasses.

You know what, if felt good to have a name for something too!

Have a great day, where ever you are!
