Default Unusual Sleepiness

I am wondering if anyone else is dealing with this problem. I am having a sleepiness problem and i can't find a cause for it. No matter how long I sleep at night, 1 hour or 10 hours, i am getting very sleepy about 1 1/2 to two hours after my morning medication. I am taking 1 - carbo/levo 25/100, 1 - carbo/levo 50/200CR, and 1 - Comtan 200 when I first wake up in the morning. I have been on this dosage for close to 8 years now. I also take 1 - paxil like at 10 am so I don't mix it with the other medications in trying to find the cause.

By sleepiness I mean I get this dopey feeling that kind of feels like it washes over my body and as hard as I try to fight it, I MUST go to sleep. Usually I will sleep for an hour to two hours. When I wake up I am just fine and continue my plans for the day. I continue to take my medications at the needed times without having the sleepiness. I have been to both my GP and MDS about this and neither find anything wrong. All test return normal.

Any help or suggestions would be appricated

Greg,
I wonder if it is the Comtan. I take a similar mixture of sinemet and entacapone and find that, especially if I am not being physically active, i get sleepiness, just as you describe, in the morning.

My pharmacy has recently started adding a 'may cause drowsiness' message to entacapone.

On the other hand just the right incline of my head can do the same thing!

Thanks for your suggestion Lindy. My doctor had me titrate down off of Comtan for a month with no change to this sleepiness thing so I don't think it is the Comtan.
