I too was looking for a class like that near me. Since there wasn't a class for people with PD, I joined a tap class at a senior center. Although I was the only one with PD, there were other ladies with a variety of medical problems, so the class did not move too fast.
Now I have moved and where I am now, I take tap classes at a dancing school that has a morning adult class. Some of the ladies are younger than me, but many are older. I took tap dance when I was growing up and the steps came back to me easily. Some of the ladies never danced and the teacher is very patient in teaching the steps. I am amazed at how well I can dance, and then when class is over, my foot drags when I walk across the room to take off my tap shoes. I danced in 2 parades this past year. I rode in a van along the parade route and then got out when it was time to dance. You can see some pictures of the 4th of July parade if you go to my profile.
