A new way to literally "see" inflammation in the brain is heading our way, courtesy of the bright minds in Australia (go, collaboration, go!) Here's the link:
http://au.news.yahoo.com/thewest/a/-...-brain-health/ Our neuro made the comment that with advances like this, one could actually see the effect of a drug on the brain instead of having to wait and see how a patient felt, sometimes after weeks or months of tritrating up to a dose. This could really help a lot of us who are in the ever-present search for the right mix and balance of meds. |
