Default Fatigue

I am 53 years old and was diagnosed with PD in Feb 2004 but in reality had been unwell for probably 3 years before that.

No doubt like everyone else I have a rich mixture of symptoms but by far the worst is fatigue. Everything my Consultant has tried has failed to help this and it is getting steadily worse. Thankfully so far I do not have any tremors and the other symptoms that existed when I was first diagnosed have all eased (shuffling, limping, poor balance, stiff painful neck). I take Madopar 125 (which is like Sinemet) 4 times a day and 100mg Amantadine twice a day.

Despite extensive research I have failed to find much info on PD and fatigue.

Any feedback would be greatly appreciated.

Default fatigue is part of the game......

there are several levels of "uppers" that can be administered. The PD meds can make us tired too. Your best bet is to start an exercise program. (you have to give energy to get energy)

Sorry but there is no easy answer for you.
