I am 53 years old and was diagnosed with PD in Feb 2004 but in reality had been unwell for probably 3 years before that.
No doubt like everyone else I have a rich mixture of symptoms but by far the worst is fatigue. Everything my Consultant has tried has failed to help this and it is getting steadily worse. Thankfully so far I do not have any tremors and the other symptoms that existed when I was first diagnosed have all eased (shuffling, limping, poor balance, stiff painful neck). I take Madopar 125 (which is like Sinemet) 4 times a day and 100mg Amantadine twice a day. Despite extensive research I have failed to find much info on PD and fatigue. Any feedback would be greatly appreciated. Chris UK |
