Thumbs up Whatta quote!

Bob

I predict this to become famous (or is it infamous? lol). But first you have to give your permission for its use elsewhere:

quoting you:

"Fighting PD, and many other maladies, is partly a question of choosing the battleground and the weapons. Treatment related to the body and the mind, the whole person, moves the battle to a different field of action, where Pharma will always be absent because they cannot get a patent on hope or beauty or human kindness. "

Thank you!
Peg

Pegleg,

Thank you again for your limitless kindness.
Everyone in any way connected with this site or with other groups fighting similar battles for any disease or condition may use anything I write and I do not need to be given credit. When I hit the "Send" key, anything I send floats off on its own, and anyone who finds it can do anything they want with it - once it goes out, I no longer consider that it belongs to me.

...." Fighting Pharma on Pharma's turf also exposes us to the demoralizing darkness of Pharma-World, where everything is calculated for profit, and where the simple human values are scorned. Just contemplating what was done, in detail, to the Amgen GDNF volunteers, can actually make you feel sick and hopeless, just when, in your illness, you need information, support and love.
As much as possible, I would like to turn my back and walk away from those who are just pushing pills and work at it from a different angle. As is being done more and more - dance, exercise, art, human care, meditation; there is something out there that can be made to work for you, if you step outside the enclosure that Pharma has built around us.....

BUT, I will continue to remind people about the 48 volunteers for the Amgen GDNF experiments. It's a model of what is wrong.
And even moreso, it is a model of what WRONG is.
