very interesting that they are doing exercise with their eyes closed.
Annoying that they do not describe what kind of exercise they are doing. Anyone volunteer to contact that university and ask that they forward info to us as it becomes available? I would probably not be diplomatic enough, so someone else should do the "interface". |

The name of the program is the PD SAFEx program and it is being done and tested at Movement Disorders Research and Rehabilitation Centre, Wilfrid Laurier University, Waterloo, Ontario, Canada. They have done some good research on the topic that seems pretty encouraging.
There is also a book about the program available on Amazon which I have called: THE EFFECTS OF EXERCISE ON PARKINSONS DISEASE [Paperback] by Michael Sage. Is very much research oriented and not super clear about the exercise program itself. Howard |
