To those who have gotten DBS or are waiting for one [like blue dahlia], can you please list your reason (s} for moving over to the yes column and getting one?

One pwp said her dyskinesia actually caused her to kick a hole in her wall!

Paula,

It's because of the dyskinesia and the uncontrollable sweats (I think my sweat glands are dyskinetic too )

And........I wanna eat my protein any darn time I feel like it!

Hopefully I'll gain a bit of weight. Starting to look like a dried out prune.

my grandson likes to feel my skin in a manner similar to how he used to play with play dough/ He pokes, pulls and twists the skin on the back of my arms - it still goes back to original shape at least. lol

I had DBS 5 years past and still take about 75% less Sinemet before DBS. Saved my llife. Kidneys were breaking down because they could not handle the amount of protein my muscles were breaking down due to dyskenisias.

Vicky thank you. It's so complicated, this management of meds. I know my "tremor" is internal; it shows up on all the tests like EKGs. I wonder what is going on with us due to this internal shaking.
