Did anyone have abnormal sensations as first symptoms of Parkinsons, even tremor is an internal sensation?

I think all of this is "abnormal"... but pretty standard PD symptoms, as far as I know.
My left shoulder also "froze" about 5 years ago, I then had occasional bouts of very minor tremor that I would call "internal" almost like anxiety, and "thousand-yard-stare". Four years ago I started getting very "deliberate" in my movements and speech, and my left ankle swelled up for 2 weeks after going bowling one night. Then I started dragging my left foot. Now both shoulders and upper legs are constantly sore and tight and both ankles swell, depending on my sleep pattern (sleeplessness that's probably due to lack of exercise and drug side-effects), despite the large amount of pramipexole and more modest amount of azilect that I eat daily. Speaking of exercise, I just started yoga - only 2 sessions so far - and I feel more loose and balanced than I have for some time. I have let my exercise program lapse and I'm paying for it. If you are experiencing these types of symptoms, whatever it may end up being, it is wise to get or stay physically active and healthy. My GP tried to put me on wellbutrin for anxiety because of the tremor, but I felt it was something else, and didn't want the drug. Keep looking for your answer, don't just accept everything they tell you. Sometimes they're just guessing, too. |
