Default levodopa inconsistencies?

While there are many different variants of l-dopa out there (branded, generic, etc) and we all seem to have different reactions to medication, I wonder if anyone has experienced differences that may be due to inconsistencies in the formulation of the medication, i.e. completely unusual dose failure, or much better response with one lot of medication than another, or response varying more than usual from tablet to tablet.

I am not asking about a particular brand, just whether this has happened to you. And what exactly you experienced..........

Have you ever put aside a batch of tablets and said 'these don't work for me', or been changed to an apparently similar medication, and it hasn't had the same effect as your usual prescription. Or even the other way, and it work better than before.....

But most particularly dose failure or inconsistency.......
