Default Something completely different

This thread reminded me of a posting made on the old BT

Our Parkinson’s support group meets every Wednesday from 10:00 until 12:00. The first hour is devoted to exercise led by a physical trainer (PT). He takes us through various exercises designed to strengthen and flex our bodies. One day I decided to test HIS strength and flexibility. My daughter had given me a "fart machine" for my birthday; Don’t ask me why; I have a birthday coming up on the 18th of April and I’m steeling myself for what is coming. I guess I come across as the kind of guy who could use a fart machine. Anyway, the fart machine produces 4 realistic sounds all operated remotely (I won’t furnish you with details). I arrived early one Wednesday and taped the fart machine to the underside of the chair that the PT would be using. We started exercising and I waited for an opportune time to set it off. It came when we did the standing up exercise. You know, when we cross our arms in front of our chest and stand up unaided. As he was rising, I turned the fart machine on. He rose as if propelled by a jet engine.

Why am I telling you this story? It happened almost a year ago. In the interim, some of the members of the support group have declined further. Yet, when they are reminded of the fart machine and its uplifting affect upon our PT they break into smiles and sometimes prolonged laughter.

I knew my life had a purpose

Default Oh Wow!!!!

Lloyd...bless you for the laugh.

Can you remember MY story on braintalk 1 about being propelled across a stage..[behind a mega posh string quartet] on AN INDUSTRIAL FLOOR POLISHER...

Not nearly as funny as your prank...but don`t you just love making someones day with a funny rendition.
We should ALL learn to laugh at ourselves....makes smiling through the tears a bit easier.

Off to buy a fart machine.
What do you reckon...? Glued to the pulpit at church in time for the sermon?

What do you mean NO?????????????????
