Vitamin D levels

I just got back some lab work results today.
I have been taking 5,000 IU of vita D for the last couple of years now.
My level is 30, just barely in the optimal range and far from 50 that Mrs. D says is a good level to achieve in this thread. Plus, I live in southern California where I get out in the sun a little bit every day at least.
Unfortunately, I don't have previous levels to compare to but I guess I will try to up the dosage a bit more. I do take magnesium regularly so I am not too worried about Calcium build-up.
On a positive note concerning supplements I was able to double my B-12 levels from 332 pg/mL (in 2009) to 664 (presently 2013). I've been dissolving B-12 tablets (1000 mcg of methylcobalamin) under my tongue.

I SO appreciate all the great information that has been shared on this forum.

Jon

We've been pointed to the Complete D3 from Allergy Research Group for its D & K combo. Nice tiny capsule. I don't think the ratio matters that much. Getting plenty of K does matter...
