Default Indigogo's radio debut

Congrats,
Carey! I hope to see more PwP involved in such good PR efforts!

Letter from NWPF (Northwest Parkinson's Foundation) Washington state

Throughout the month of November, KEXP 90.3 FM is spotlighting the work and mission of the Northwest Parkinson's Foundation. As part of their Community Partnership Initiative, KEXP will run radio spots featuring the NWPF, profile our work on its website and host a benefit concert with net proceeds benefitting the northwest Parkinson's community. Be sure to:
  • Listen to KEXP 90.3 FM for further information, including an interview with our friend Carey Christensen, a woman with Parkinson's and advocate for the Parkinson's community. For those outside the KEXP listening area, you can also listen online via their website. http://www.kexp.org/
  • Visit the KEXP website for more information on the NWPF and how you can become more involved in our work.
  • Attend the Audioasis benefit show hosted by KEXP DJ Hannah Levin on December 4th at The Sunset in Ballard.
The Northwest Parkinson Foundation thanks KEXP for bringing our work to the attention of its diverse and informed listenership in a way that directly benefits the northwest Parkinson's community.

Sincerely,

Joseph DiChiaro, Development Director

Default Seattle PD benefit December 4

Hey Peggy - thanks for picking up on this! We (Joseph DiChiaro, NWPF's new development director and myself), recorded the interview yesterday with Hannah Levin at the KEXP studio in downtown Seattle. It's very short, but I think the information is good - I haven't heard it yet.

KEXP is an alternative/indie rock station, so it will reach a different audience - hopefully some newly diagnosed! And the music benefit should rock the house - it will be fun to get out and dance !!!

If you live in the Seattle area - get thee to Ballard on December 4!
