Default Couldn't be more OT- Need help w/Maxfield Parrish

Forgive me, but I have an unusual situation. I have purchased what I honestly believe to be two prints by Maxfield Parrish. Not reproductions but actual prints produced under his direction. If I am right, then they are worth several thousand dollars. If not, then I don't have to worry about the cat barfing on them. But the odds of finding an authority here in beautiful TN. ("Max-Feeld? What kind of name is that?)

Anyone got a cousin who wrote their thesis on MP?

Can you take a picture of them and send them to an art appraiser?

The web says they are auctioned at Sotheby's and Christie's.

Default Maxfield Parrish Exhibit

Rick, I attended an exhibit of his work here this summer at the Norton Art Gallery. At that time I realized that, as a child, I had seen his work in illustrations in children's story books. He also apparently did extensive illustration art for magazine advertising and calendars for GE, or Edison Electric, its forebear.
His work is very recognizable and unique.

Default Orlando Florida

Rick,
In September I saw Maxfield Parrish's painting "The Dinkey Bird" at the Louis Comfort Tiffany Art Museum (also called the Morse museum) just outside Orlando in Winter Park- they have it as part of their permanent collection.
I recognized it from Poems of Childhood by Eugene Field which Parrish illustrated and was first published in 1904.
My copy (from 1920) has 8 color prints in it, about 6X8" size.
I absolutely love his illustrations. Let me know if you want the names of the prints. I hope that might help.
